Read the instructions above (via picture) or below to make a simple paper umbrella. You would think that it i hard to make, but really it isn't.
These umbrellas can be use with dolls or cocktails decorations. Instead of buying them, you can make your own!
Step 1
First trace a circle on a piece of colorful paper. Cut out the circle. Leave a tiny triangle cut out of the circle..as if there was a very tiny piece of pizza cut out of the circle.
Step 2
Now fold over the triangle into a triangle fold.
Step 3
Then fold over the other direction.
Step 4 and 5
Now fold it back behind the circle...the forward...then back...like an accordion fold until it looks like picture #5 above.
Step 6
Now open up the shape to look like picture #6 and glue the 2 sides together. Now let completely dry and then put a toothpick through the center of the paper to make a beautiful paper umbrella.
